Mackenzie Glass offer a comprehensive range of glass and glass related products and services.

We can supply only, supply and install, give free advice and quotes, we welcome retail and trade customers.

No job is too small and very few are too large for our experienced team.

Delivery service

Mackenzie glass have a fleet of specialist glass carrying vehicles with fully trained operatives in glass handling and transportation.

We offer a regular delivery service with regular routes from our Exeter base, additionally our glazing teams are out and about and can help out if required.

Longer distance deliveries and very prompt/ specifically timed deliveries can be accommodated

Glazing

Mackenzie glass have been glazing in Exeter since 1954 to both trade and retail customers.

Our glazing manager Peter Arnold looks after the day to day running of this busy department. We offer a full glazing service for sealed units, shop-fronts, lead-lights specialist fire rated glass, secondary glazing, and emergency repairs.

We are happy to give estimates/quotes over the phone

or at our trade counter ,but would always advise one of our experienced surveyors makes a site visit in order for a firm price to be given.

All of our glazing teams have N.V.Q. trained glaziers with a wealth of experience on all types of glazing systems they use quality products to ensure we give our customers a first class service

Glass Processing.

Mackenzie Glass can offer the following processing services at our Marsh Barton factory.

Polishing

We are able to polish straight and shaped edge glass from 4mm to 12mm .

Drilling

We are able to drill holes from 6mm to 75mm diameter in both float glass and mirrors.

Bevelling

We are able to bevel straight edge glass with a bevel from 10mm to 30mm.

Cut Outs

Our skilled cutters and drillers can cut square and circular holes for fans, cat-flaps, letter-box's, and light fittings. They can also notch the glass for glass hinges to kichen, internal and shower doors.

Safety Backing

A clear film applied to the back of the mirror in the event of breakage it holds in place.

Demista Pads

Applied to the back of the miror to help stop misting of mirrors in bathrooms.

With glass now being used in many new ways, in both commercial and domestic buildings, regulations change and new products become available. we monitor our suppliers and the GGF of which we are proud members for up dates and information.

Our experienced glazing office and trade counter staff can offer technical advise, Customers are welcome to ask them any glass related questions they may have.

Normally they will be able to offer advise straight away, but if this is not possible we will endeavour to find the answers and call you back as quickly as possible.
